Friday The 13th!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i went to see Friday The 13th on Friday the 13th, i thought that would be the best time to see it lol. The film kinda took a while to get into to, the intro was a little too long for my taste. It starts off with a flashback scene where you see Jason's mother trying to kill a camp employee, as punishment for him drowning, and she fails and get killed herself. Now i haven't seen the original movies, so i can really compare them but i have heard that the first film is about his mother and her killings, so it seems they have tried to show that in the first 5 minutes of this film, so they could get straight into Jason. Oh and ofcourse.....Its JASON..he is there in the flashback and watches as his mothers head gets chopped off, what a suprise je is not dead, so his revenge starts.


We are then transported to the present day where we start with some 20 something year olds are in the woods camping......right next to Camp Crystal Lake. They party, get drunk...oh and ofcourse have sex.. like in most horrors. Then during the night the killing starts, Jason chops, slices, burns, stabs, and just kills them in the most entertaing way he can. The killings is the part of the movie where i am actually intrested and not bored, my favourite is the sleeping bag with a girl inside hanging over a fire and her boyfriend is watcching her burn to death......very cruel...and evil..but..entertaining. From the kills you can see that Jason maybe a monster, but hes a smart one. He knows what he's doing and how to do it and most of the time without being seen first.




Then we move 6 weeks ahead and find a new character Clay (Jared Padalecki), who has come to find his missing sister, who was one of the 20 something year old campers. He doesn't get a great welcome from the locals, they think he should give up and go home. He bumps into some rich fools on the way to a cabin, evils stares and comments are passed around and he goes on his way to do some more searching. Then suprisingly (yeah right) he bumps into the rich fools again while knocking on doors, the girl invites him in the big blonde dude who is not even that good looking throws a tantrum, all while his blonde hair is bouncing all over the place. Clay leaves, along with the girl to do some more searching and they come up to Camp Crystal Lake and go in for a peek.




In the mean time Jason kills off two of the rich partying crew while they are playing with the blonde bouncy hair dudes boat (even theough he told them not to touch the boat). One (the dude) with a arrow through the head, which was a good shot i must say, then the girl get hit by the boat, sees Jason swims to the dock thing hides under it, but Jason stabs her through the head with his machette. meanwhile Clay and the girl are searching the cabins in Camp Crystal Lake and hear a noise ....OMFG someones coming...hide and ofcourse leave a bag so Jason knows someone has been there...(predictable). Jason sees the bag drops a dead body, they are like OMG WTF, and he searchs but dosn't find them, he takes the body and the bag and goes away, Clay and the girl leave the camp, on their way out hit a rope tied to a bell way way under ground and the bell rings and thenwe see........Clay's sister alive and chained up...OMG (but we all knew she wasn't dead anyway), they then get back to the rich blonde bouncy dudes house where he is busy have sex with a blonde bouncy boob slut. Jason comes kills a dude in the tool shed and this is where there were a few giggles in the cinema, the dude says (while holding a hockey stick) are you looking for this? coz it completes your outfit......even i got a couple of giggles out of it...lol. Then another dude geta a machette in his back just outside the house, then there were 4.




They called the cops before the phones went dead, and of course there are no cell phone signals, When the cop arrives Jason kills him, the blonde bouncy boob slut then gets killed, and is left hanging from a door, then there were 3. They leave the house in hope to find somewhere safer....in the wood.....??? Anyway, Clay and the girl head for Camp Crystal Lake while Jason follows the blonde bouncy hair dude to the road and impales him onto a truck. Meanwhile Clay and the girl find his underground lair, and Clays sister, they hear Jason and try to escape the girl is killed. After a few bumps and scrapes Clay and his sister manage to find their way to a barn.......Jason then turns up they kill him...or so they think. they wrap him up in a sheet and toss him into the lake. They are having a nice moment while the sun is rising and OMFG......Jason pops up through the wood and grabs the girl.........THE END. ......SEQUEL ALERT.....now it was quite a predictable film, with a very predictable end. But there were the few entertaining moments....mainly when people were getting killed, Jared and the girl who played his sister did some good acting but everyone else did some pretty crappy acting and i think more imagination could have been put into this move, but I'd give it 3 out of five stars.
