Bolt 3D....first the 3d part was good, the glasses were just like sunglasses, i remember back when they are horrid white card things with one greeen eye and one red eye, back when i was young...lol.

The films starts off with puppy Bolt (voiced by John Travolta) playing with a carrot in a pet shop, it shows him as a loner as all the other puppies are together playing, running, etc. He likes his carrot too much to share...lol. I was like awwwwww...i want him. He was so cute and the character Penny (voiced by Miley Cyrus) comes in to choose a dog. Ofcourse she chooses Bolt because he is just too adorable to pass up. This gives the audience a nice feeling, its a good start to the movie, very heart warming.

We are then taken later Bolt no longer a puppy, he and Penny are being chased by the green eyed man. Who needs to kidnap her so her father will do as they tell him. Bolt uses his many special powers to get rid of the enemies and keep Penny safe. Ofcourse we then hear the word cut and find out that they are on a TV set and it is all make believe....but we did already know this anyway...but Bolt dosn't. He thinks it is all real and the producers like it that way, they think if he really believes it, the audience will really believe it. Its kinda like the Truman Show for kids..lol.

After one scene where Penny gets kidnapped, and the filming ends Bolt still believes she is kidnapped and escapes from his trailer to try and save her, after making it out of the film studio, he runs around trying to find where he is and where penny is. He meets friends on the way to finding Penny, like a few pigeons who direct him to a cat they dont like and tell him that she is working for the green eyed man. I love those pigeons, they are like "I Know i've seen his face before" (BIG Bolt Poster on a bus rolls up behind Bolt)..."This is gonna kill me.", "no i cant remember"....lol........yey for Mafia Pigeons...anyway.

Bolt kidnaps the cat Mittens, and insists on her taking him to the green eyed man, and she thinks he is crazy and has no idea what he is talking about. They travel all over and finally come to a trailer park and meet Rhino the Hamster who is my favourite character, he is amazing and so funny. Rhino watches Bolt on TV and finally mentions it to Mittens who then tries to convince Bolt his is an actor and not a super dog, then......Bolt and mittens get captured by the animal catcher people, Rhino helps blt escape from the van on the way. Bolt finally comes to the relization that he isn't a super dog then he and Rhino go and rescue mittens. They all become good friends, but Bolt really wants to go backa nd see Penny so he leaves, then Rhino and Mittens follow him.

When Bolt arrives back at the movie set he sees Penny with another dog that looks exactly like Bolt and is upset, he thinks she didn't really like him, that is was all an act. Mittens find hima nd tells him he is an idiot and Penny really does love him, the studio catches fire and Bolt goes in to save Penny, they can escape and Bolt barks up a vent thing and the firemen come and rescue them. Penny and Boltr quit showbusiness and take Mittens and Rhino and live happily ever after.

Its a story of Bolt discovering who he really is and where he belongs in the world. We are taken on an amazing adventure with a lot of laughs. Disney are really contuing the great timeline of animation. You really feel what Bolt is feeling because of his amazing expressive features, all of the characters are extremley likeable and it is an entertaining film for both adult and child. John Travoltas voice really suited the character, Miley Cyrus also did OK, but i think she was used because of her current high star status at the moment, and this gave the film more promotion. With her also singing a song on the end credits of the movie. Although its not my fav disnye movie i still really enjoyed watching it and give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
